Freeride Mountain Biking

Freeride mountain biking is similar to downhill mountain biking in that is focuses on extreme conditions and challenges to make a ride or a course. Jumps, drops, and man-made obstacles are all part of an average freeride mountain biking trail experience. Freeride mountain biking is more expressive than downhill mountain biking, though - hence the term "freeride" - it relies more on the ingenuity of the cyclist to surmount obstacles on the course than the speed in which the obstacles are tackled.

Freeride mountain biking is what comes to mind when the term "mountain biking" is mentioned - fun, laid-back, challenging, self-relying. Freeride mountain biking is done for love of the sport.
